School & Carnival Henna

Bring the art of henna to your school event, carnival, or fundraiser — fun, safe, and unforgettable for kids and adults alike.

Henna is one of the most popular attractions at school carnivals, fairs, and fundraising events. Kids love watching intricate designs appear on their hands, and parents appreciate that it's 100% natural, safe, and temporary. I bring everything needed to run a professional henna booth at your event.

Perfect for These Events

Kid-Friendly Designs

I have a collection of quick, fun designs that kids love:

Quick designs take 2–5 minutes per person, so I can serve 10–20 guests per hour depending on complexity.

Parent-approved: I use only 100% natural henna made from the Lawsonia inermis plant. No chemicals, no PPD, no black henna — ever. I'm happy to share my full ingredient list with school administrators and parents.

Fundraiser Model

Many schools use the henna booth as a fundraiser: the school charges students $3–5 per design and pays the artist a flat hourly rate. This model typically nets the school $200–400+ in profit for a 3-hour event. I'm happy to work with your PTA/PTO to set up a pricing structure that maximizes your fundraising.

FAQ for Event Organizers

Is henna safe for children?

Yes! Natural henna is safe for children ages 5 and up. I do not apply henna to children under 5 without explicit parental consent and supervision. No chemicals are ever used.

What if a child has allergies?

True allergies to natural henna are extremely rare. Parents may request a patch test in advance. I always advise that children with G6PD deficiency should not get henna.

How long does it last?

The stain lasts 1–2 weeks and fades naturally. There's nothing to "remove" — it just grows out with the skin.
